Spring is here and it’s time to get the gardens ready for planting!
Volunteers make our gardens possible. Over ninety percent of our gardeners are elders and/or people with physical disabilities. Without volunteer support to help get beds ready, we could not provide lower income residents with the life-changing opportunity to grow healthy and affordable food.
Our early Spring activities include:
- Topping off beds with fresh soil and compost
- Building and repairing garden beds
- Pulling weeds and spent plants from beds

Looking to schedule a service day with your company, school, church or other organization? Want to volunteer but the dates above don’t work for you? No problem! Contact Us to coordinate.
