BloomMKE supports Little Free Libraries (LFLs) in urban areas were many children have limited or even no access to books through book drives and direct purchase of books. Unlike most LFLs, we encourage residents to keep the books they take and share with other family members as a means to promote and improve literacy.
LFL’s provide two essential benefits to children and adults in low income neighborhoods. They promote early childhood education and provide opportunities for parents and grandparents to develop in healthy, loving relationships with their children.
