Spring is here and we have plenty to do out in the gardens! Volunteers are needed to help get our community gardens ready for planting.
Volunteers make our gardens possible. Over ninety percent of our gardeners are elders and/or people with physical disabilities. Without volunteer support to help, we could not provide lower income residents with the life-changing opportunity to grow healthy and affordable food.
Our early Spring activities include:
- Topping off beds with fresh soil and compost
- Building and repairing garden beds
- Pulling weeds and spent plants from beds

Looking to schedule a service day with your company, school, church or other organization? Want to volunteer but the dates above don’t work for you? No problem! Contact Us to coordinate.
